We are a province-wide association of canine rescues united by a shared commitment to the humane treatment of all animals. Working together, we ensure that dogs in need receive safe, responsible, and compassionate care rooted in the internationally recognized Five Freedoms for Animals:

We want to share that Ruff Start New Beginnings has been named a honorary member of our association. The founder, the late Kelly Beatty, applied for membership prior to her passing, because she deeply believed in ethical, transparent practices in dog rescue. It means a great deal to us to carry that belief forward and to honour the standards she stood for.
